To experience the love of God in our lives and be agents of His love to the community

Welcome

Welcome, and thank you for visiting St Ambrose Anglican Church online. We hope that our website highlights the wide variety of worship, fellowship and service opportunities available. Please feel free to read more about our church on this site, or come in for a visit. We would love to greet you and share with you our love for Jesus Christ and for you, our neighbor.

Our Vision

Our vision is to be an inclusive and embracing Church that extends a welcome to all people who seek to experience God’s love in their lives. We seek to be a parish that witnesses to Christ’s love and justice. We endeavour to be a parish where the Gospel is faithfully proclaimed and the sacraments reverently celebrated.

Our Mission

We believe that the door to salvation is always open and so are the doors to our church. Our mission is to be fully devoted to Jesus by opening our arms to those in search of the truth. We show God’s love and concern for our fellow man at every opportunity. Through works of charity and opening our doors to listen and love, we feel that we are walking in the footsteps of Jesus Christ.

DIOCESAN SERVICE 2014:

The year 2014 will mark the 50th anniversary of the Stewardship Service, which was held at the Garrison Savannah on September 06, 1964. In recognition of this milestone, all members of the Diocesan Family are invited to attend and share in a Diocesan Mass, which will take place on Sunday, February 16, 2014, at the Garfield Sobers Gymnasium at 10: 00 am.

This celebration will serve to challenge us to renew our commitment to Christ and his Church, and to take our baptismal vows seriously. The Most Reverend Dr. Katherine Jefferts Schori, Presiding Bishop of the Episcopal Church will be the preacher. Come and be renewed.
